In a collaboration between the Center of the American West and the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP), we have undertaken to give you information about technologies and practices in energy efficiency and conservation, the benefits of embracing efficiency and conservation, and strategies for overcoming the barriers to more efficient energy use.

This report addresses the opportunity to increase building energy efficiency in Arizona by: (1) identifying the best practices in energy code support, compliance, and enforcement, and (2) promoting and replicating those best practices in other municipalities across Arizona.
