Incentives for Gas Furnaces in Oregon: Interaction between Energy Trust and the Residential Energy Tax Credit

The main purpose of this study is to identify the combined and isolated effects of two incentive programs for energy efficient gas furnaces in Oregon. A single energy efficient gas furnace is eligible for incentives from both Energy Trust and the Oregon Department of Energy. Energy Trust sponsored this study to identify the number of furnaces whose purchase can be attributed to one or both of the incentives.
