This report provides an overview of energy savings measures for wastewater utilities in Wisconin. Depending on the size of the utility, the energy costs associated with pumping in the collection system may also be fairly high. Therefore, the greatest opportunities for significant energy savings involve aeration, sludge treatment, and pumping. Altering other treatment processes may result in minor energy savings.
